Opportunities

Track down leads and turn prospects into profits.

  • Create or import customers and leads.
  • Synchronize myERP.com contacts with Gmail Contacts.
  • Track opportunities.
  • Organize meetings in Google Calendar.
  • Convert closed opportunities into quotes.
  • Generate PDF quotes and send with Google Gmail.
    1.  Create Customer Accounts and synchronize with Google Contact:
    One of our salespeople has found a new lead.  We'll need to add their information.

    From the Opportunities Workflow we select My Accounts > Create Account.

    Then we enter the customer's details. This Lead will be created in Google Contact.


    2.  Schedule Meetings:
    It's time to meet with our new lead and discuss a proposal.

In the same Opportunities Workflow, we select Meetings > Create Meeting.

The meeting is automatically entered in Google Calendar.  And since your Customer Account Contacts are synchronized with Gmail Contacts, it's a snap to invite them.


    3.  Creating Opportunities:
    The meeting went very well, and they seem to be interested in our proposal.  Let's create an Opportunity in myERP to track the bid we made at the proposal.

From the Opportunities Workflow we select Opportunities > Create Opportunity.

    4.  Follow Up:
    Time to check in on our lead.  myERP makes this simple with built-in Gmail integration.

Right from the Opportunities workflow, we can select Email > Send Email.

A new Gmail message window opens and we can follow up with our lead.


    5.  Create Quotes for Customers:
    We got a reply from our follow-up email.  It's time to send a Quote to our prospective new customer!

From the Opportunities Workflow, we select My Quotes > Create Quote.

In the Quote Information window, we enter the Account Name and other information. We then click the "Opportunities" button to look up information on existing opportunities.

A pop-up window appears showing Opportunities generated for this Customer.  We can select the opportunities we want to include on this Quote and hit "Select".
